ChadMan's Landscape Photoplace
Welcome to my photo page. I would like to share what I see with all of you who wish to see it.
Most pictures here have been taken with a Nikon Coolpix ™ 5000 digital camera (SOLD). Some of the
images have been slightly enhanced in Adobe® Photoshop 7 (auto adjusted and sharpened).

Recently aquired a new Nikon D-70s Digital SLR and am learning how to use it.
I am a beginner at photography so the camera is doing all the work.
I just point and shoot. I'm getting better though!

Click on me! These pics are from a place that I would
be reluctant to show anybody how to get to. Not just
because the terrain is so treacherous getting there, but it is
visited by very few people. You can only get there by boat or

need life flight to get out. My friend makes the climb almost
every weekend rain or shine. I go once in a while when the sun
is shinning. It is a five mile round trip and the center pic below
is deceiving because it is 800 foot down and

At certain times of the year, the tides bring the gravels
back to me for one of my favorite hobbies-collecting agates. The climb to get to those places is relatively
easy, but you need to watch the tides. Forget the time , you will get trapped and spend a long time waiting for the tide to go back out. It is very peaceful to sift through the gravels
to collect agates, jasper and petrified wood and
fossils polished by the ocean.

The rain forest is why I love this place so much. It is always
green, and to me that represents hope and life renewed. I was raised in a very arrid place
(high desert) where it was always hot, hardly ever rained so it was almost always brown and
there where no rivers. I just smile when I hear someone complain about the seemingly constant
rain here. I just remember that it brings the green that I love so much and the water that soothes my
soul.
