Snow Buddha

The story: Was visiting my brother in Yosemite National Park on Christmas day. He worked
there. We had a few drinks and were going for a walk when we happened on a pristine meadow
of untouched snow. We looked at eachother, I could see mischief in his eye. He asked me
if I wanted to help make a snow man. Hmmmm.....I thought! He came up with the idea of a snow
Buddha. Why you ask? I think we are still wondering that! It was the guidence of the alcohol.
Anyways: about 2-3 hours later and more hot cognac, we carved this 6 foot tall (sitting) snow
Buddha. I think it was about 2 hours before we realized that others had decided to cover our
assault on the meadow by adding thier own carvings. The moral of this story is "DO NOT DRINK
AND CARVE SNOW ! At least if you are unwilling to accept the consequences! What are
the consequences? (SHRUG) I guess I'd have to ask Buddha! LOL
